Courses of the CPIA of Prato

The CPIA (Provincial Center of Education for Adults) of Prato offers the following courses:

  • L2 Italian language courses:
    • Level A1
    • Level A2 (useful for obtaining a long-term residence permit)
  • First level course - first educational period (for obtaining the former Media License)
  • First level course - second educational period (for the fulfillment of compulsory schooling)

Italian and foreign adults and those who have reached the age of 16 by 31 December of the current year can enroll in the CPIA courses.It is also possible to accept those who have reached the age of fifteen, in the presence of particular and justified needs.

Registering is easy: just fill out the online form at www.cpiaprato.edu.it

To reduce crowds, it is advisable to register online.

The CPIA is however open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 to 12:30 at the headquarters in Via San Silvestro n. 11 in Prato where you can go in person with the following documents necessary for enrollment in the courses:

Italian or EU citizens

  1. identity card or country of origin or passport or other valid identity document;
  2. tax code or health card.

Italian citizens or EU citizens minors

  1. identity card or country of origin or passport or other valid identity document;
  2. tax code or health card;
  3. valid identity document of the guardian or one of the parents;
  4. tax code or health card of the guardian or one of the parents.

Non-EU foreign citizens

  1. identity card or passport or other valid identity document;
  2. tax code or health card;
  3. valid residence permit or documentation proving the initiation of the procedure for the application or renewal of the residence permit.

Non-EU foreign nationals who are minors

  1. identity card or passport or other valid identity document;tax code or health card;
  2. valid residence permit or documentation proving the initiation of the procedure for the application or renewal of the residence permit;
  3. valid identity document of the guardian or one of the parents;
  4. tax code or health card of the guardian or one of the parents.
